Performance Coach

Job Description

The role will include a mixture of Performance and Club tennis coaching but the emphasis will be on your skills as a performance coach. The ideal candidate will need to work well within a team of experienced coaches and have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Venue Overview

Down The Line Tennis Academy was set up 9 years ago by Rowan Moss. We are based at York St John University Sports Park and have 3 indoor acrylic courts and 3 outdoor porous macadam courts. Onsite we have a pro-shop, cafe, S&C studio and extensive changing facilities as the site is a multi-sport's university complex. We have an extensive junior and adult programme delivered by a team of 7 coaches (4 full-time and 3 part-time).

Person Specification

The ideal candidate for this role will be a level 4 SPC (strong level 3's who are looking to take their Level 4 performance strand will be considered).

• Good time keeping
• A passion for coaching tennis
• A can do attitude
• Comfortable working weekends and evenings
• Competing to a good level is beneficial
• Basic computer literacy including Word and Excel
